Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount for CDW depends upon the car groups:
The maximum excess amount for mini (4-5 door), mini SUV, economy, intermediate (4-5 door) and luxury SUV groups is USD 1500.
The maximum excess amount for compact and standard vehicle groups is USD 2500.
The maximum excess amount for mini Van groups is USD 3500.
Please Note: Excess amount can go up to USD 3,500.00 if its case where the renter is proven Driving under Influence (DUI), using a control substance or intoxicated by alcohol or cannabis and is proven by the police. Also it the renter is involved in a major single vehicular accident. (Example if renter is speeding and loses control and overturn or runoff the road).
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
It is included in your rental amount.
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a limited cover for personal injuries and material damages.
Transferable Insurance Coverage
In a case where the renters decline suppliers daily CDW, supplier will minus the amount from the daily rate, once they have received documented proof that credit card covers damages, theft, loss keys etc.
Therefore the card type will determine how much the excess will be.
A COVERED credit card does not cover small incidentals like rims and types damages, scrapes/scratches and minor ding/dents. Therefore a Pre-authorize of USD 250.00 will be required.
For the example: the Chase Visa from USA offers full coverage in Jamaica to the cardholder once they decline the supplier’s daily CDW and use the card for payment.
Please note that if your credit card company offer Collision Damage coverage transferable to rental vehicles, it is your responsibility to verify whether it is valid in your rental country.
If you do not comply with the insurance requirements of the supplier OR your credit card coverage is not enough / does not provide coverage for the rented vehicle, it is mandatory to purchase insurance at the rental desk in order to rent the vehicle.
Excess Reduction
In the event of an accident, Super Collision Damage Waiver (Super CDW) reduces your excess amount up to a small manageable amount. It is optional and can be purchased at the rental desk. For more information please check at the rental desk.
Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 21 years and the maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
A Young Driver surcharge of USD 5 up to a maximum charge of USD 30 per rental will apply for drivers between 21 years to 23 years.
Driver’s License
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 2 years. Also, a valid ID card or passport would be required at time of pick up.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) is required if the renter’s national driving license is not in Roman alphabet (For Eg. if the license is in Arabic). International driver license must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.
Fees
Airport Fee is not applicable.
Other fees:
1. Administration fee of USD 20 will apply in case of any Parking, traffic fines.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown Assistance is available at no charge on the basis of a mechanical or electronic failure not caused by renter. Surcharges are determined based on the cause of the breakdown.
Example: If the customer left a light or ignition on and it drains the battery and they proceed to do an improper jump start resulting to major electrical problems, then the renter is fully responsible.
Fuel Policy
You have to return the vehicle with same fuel amount as it was supplied to you at the time of pickup. In case of less fuel missing fuel will be charged on your return. Unused fuel is not refundable. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Supplier's fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at rental counter.

Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is not allowed.
VAT
VAT is included in the rental price. However, for all the optional extras or special equipment, or extra services, VAT would be levied separately.
Payment Methods and Deposit
All major credit cards are accepted and must be on main drivers name while paying at the rental desk.
Deposit
A refundable deposit of USD 500 is held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection service is available free of charge within 10 miles radius from the rental office.
Delivery and collection service outside 10 miles radius is available for a charge varying from USD 25 to USD 60.
Out of Hours
Out of hours service is available and additional charge will apply.
Grace Period
for vehicle pick up
2 hours of grace period is allowed. No charge for late pick up within normal work hours. We will honour a late pick up once customer gives assurance that they need the vehicle. 50% of the daily rate will apply if the customer picks up the vehicle after normal work hours.
for late return
A 1 hour grace period is given for returning vehicles. A charge of USD 10.00 for every hour after the grace period will apply.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
